This the view from a 2nd floor condo lanai Hale Kai O' Kihei (House by the sea in Kihei). The island in the background is Kahoolawe. It was used by the military as a bombing target for many years.. Now for many years more , they have to clean up all the unexploded bombs. That person on the grass has the right idea. What are we doing? |

This is Wailuku Heights. Nice area to live. Nice view, lots of clouds, lots of rain and lots of wind. The green area in front of the homes is pasture land for cows. On the very far top right of the picture is beginning of Iao valley. |
